Each Challah for Hunger chapter donates 50% of its profits to the national cause, American Jewish World Service: Darfur, and allocates the other 50% of its profits to organizations of its choosing. Many of the chapters use this opportunity to engage their community in philanthropic conversations and to develop relationships and volunteer programs with local non-profits.
We are so proud of the impact of our chapters' donations and we're happy to share this sampling of letters we've received from the orgaizations we have supported. Below is a list of non-profits to which chapters have donated.
